Eight (8) CPEs in Accounting Available

NOTE:
SEATING FOR THIS SEMINAR IS LIMITED TO 60 REGISTRANTS

The National State Boards of Accountancy has finalized sweeping changes in reporting standards effective January 1, 2011. Are you prepared and ready to conform? If not, you risk losing accounting and business clients. GEAR UP’s accounting expert, Joseph Santoro, will guide participants through a complete review of all FASB changes affecting the preparation of financial statements, compilations, and reviews. He’ll supplement the information-packed seminar with a comprehensive reference guide filled with the information and checklists you need to comply.

This course outlines your accounting future . . . learn about:

    • The new International Financial Reporting Standards scheduled for U.S. integration by June 30, 2011 and full application by 2014.
    • IFRS gives the U.S. accountant the option of using GAAP, OCBOA, or IFRS.
    • Find out if IFRS suits your client best — even if the client’s own market is not international.
    • The new SSARS No. 19 that makes obsolete most existing prior SSARS statements, radically revises the reports issued for compilation and review, and requires an engagement letter for all levels of service. And, it must be implemented in 2010!
    • Updates to Professional Standards: the most recent GAAP pronouncements and the effect on the main street accountant.

In addition, the course will review analytical procedures; financial statement forecasts and projections; personal financial statements; financial statements for a divorce engagements; peer review; construction contractor financial statements; financial statement disclosures; quality control; peer review, and more. This is a “must-attend” seminar since you not only gain valuable knowledge to insure you’re complying with GAAP, SSARS, and OCBOA, but also because you walk away with the five-star GEAR UP seminar reference manual filled with the information and aids you need to best service your diverse clientele.

NOTE
: The 1-day course will address all of the above topics in lesser depth.
