Website Security Enhancements
Bring Member Log-in Changes

With new security measures instituted by IAAM's website provider, IAAM members will now have to log into the site each time they visit rather than be able to program the site to always automatically log them in when they visit using the same computer or networked system.

The change was facilitated by Affiniscape's compliance with information security regulations by the Federal Trade Commission. The new security measures insure that no financial or personal information can be stolen by internet hackers.

Once a member logs into the site, the site will allow them access for 8 hours before it automatically logs the member out and requires a new log-in process.

The new log-in process prevents IAAM staff from accessing a member's password. So if you don't know your user name and password, the log-in menu now allows you to have an automatic e-mail sent to you with either your username or password. IAAM strongly urges members to physically maintain the username and password.

Remember, in order for the website to record your education attendance history, you must be logged in before registering for an event. As an Active, Associate, or Life member, you must also be logged in to access information on the members only page.
